The Brinwade Chronicles

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that we are launching our third book at this year’s Newark Book Festival. Entitled The Brinwade Chronicles, it is a Gothic collection of short stories based around a fictional village just outside Newark. Here’s the blurb:

In a village nestling on a Nottinghamshire hill, hidden by ancient trees, off the beaten track but close to a web of rivers and roads, railways and power lines…there’s a crackle of something different, a hint of mystical doorways, tales of unusual inhabitants, the irrepressible force of Nature, the Supernatural and the downright Unnatural.

Welcome to Brinwade Catlow, a village like no other.

The Chronicles contain twenty-eight stories written by a coven of thirteen authors from Fosseway Writers. Be prepared for Gothic tales which span the years, which surprise and entertain… and which caress your senses with icy fingers of dread.

We’ll be on a stall in Newark market place at the Book Festival on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th where you can purchase a copy (or several). On Sunday evening we’re also running a free webinar in conjunction with the Festival on how we produced our collaborative books, including last year’s novel by eight authors, Burning Old School Ties.
