We had a really productive meeting on Thursday on the group’s plans for the Newark Book Festival in July with some great ideas from our members. We’ve got a bit of work to do but we hope to have a really engaging stall on the Saturday and Sunday in the Market Place. And the centre-piece was unveiled to the group – the proof copies of our 2018 Anthology: “Gobstoppers, Shrimps and Sour Monkeys“.
There will be some furious proof-reading over the next few days to ensure that all typos are eliminated from the final version. We’ll give more details of where to buy a copy once it’s finished. Big thanks to Linda and Sean for their help in selecting the rather splendid collection of short stories and poems.
