Next Workshop (2 Feb): Megan Taylor on ‘Getting Your Short Stories Out There’

Our next formal meeting on Thursday 2nd February (7-9 pm) is a workshop on ‘getting your short stories out there’ by Megan Taylor. Megan has run a series of workshops on this theme for Writing School East Midlands and will lend her experience for the evening. Perhaps this is the year to get your short story published – new visitors & prospective members welcome!

Her first novel “How we were lost” was published by Flame Books in 2007. Her second, “The Dawning”, was published by Weathervane Press in 2010, who also published “The Lives of Ghosts” (2012) and her first short story collection “The Woman Under the Ground and Other Stories” (2014). She has been running writing workshops since 2010.

IMPORTANT REMINDER ON LOCATION!!!  Due to some work being carried out at Knights Court, this meeting will be held at Newark Bowls Club. This is off London Road opposite the library/cinema car park and the entrance is immediately to the left of the Iceland entrance (as you look at it from the library side of London Road). The club is at the bottom of the drive on the right hand side.
