We’re delighted to have Clare Stevens with us at our next meeting and she’ll be reading some excerpts from her novel, Blue Tide Rising, as well as setting a couple of writing exercises.
Clare started off in journalism before moving on to government information work and decided to study for an MA in Creative Writing at Nottingham Trent University. Her debut novel has been described as one “that deftly steps between gritty reality and magic realism”.
She’s also had several short stories published in anthologies and runs creative writing workshops.
