We have a regular programme of formal meetings and workshops (on the first Wednesday of the month), complemented by our ‘surgery & social’ meets, usually on the third Thursday where we read and discuss some of our work with other members. In-person sessions are generally held at Newark Library for formal meetings and workshops, and at the LetsXcape Cafe for our informal chats.

A chance to bring your writing to the group, discuss what you are working on, what you are stuck on, what you are thinking about; and to read something if you feel like it. Not working on anything? Don’t fancy reading? Still join us – you might just get the inspiration you need for your next project and it’s really interesting to hear what others are working on.
Generally the 3rd Thursday of the month (except where the first Wednesday of the month falls in the second week. Basically, 2 weeks after our meetings at the library we’ll be chilling out at LetsXcape). If in doubt, get in touch.
We are also having a Christmas get-together on 11 December 2026 at LetsXcape.
