New Year, New Approach? How To Get Blogging

On Thursday 5th January we kick off our 2017 programme of events with a talk by Nick Rowe on blogging. What is it? Who does it? And why?

If you like to write then Nick will explain why a blog can be a valuable tool for any budding author or poet. He’ll also attempt to cover how to set up your own blog, but technical guffery will be kept to a minimum!

As it is the start of a new year we’ll also be having a read-out session of any poems or writing you want to bring along on new year/resolutions/beginnings, etc.  And if that isn’t already a packed agenda it’s also the launch of the Poetry Competition.

See you at Knights Court – the fun begins at 7:00 pm. New members especially welcome, particularly if it’s a New Year’s Resolution to join a writers’ group!
