Competitions

We usually run three competitions per year which have cash prizes and are awarded by external guest judges which means that there is a small submission fee. Click on the links to see the winners of our 2024 competitions for Poetry, Flash Fiction and Short Stories, and our 2025 Poetry winners. Our current competition is to create a flash fiction story on the theme of “Envelope”.

We now only accept entries via email with Word/PDF attachments and payment via bank transfer. Please do not send in entries without reading the rules carefully as we will not accept any that do not conform to our rules.
